Hello the name is Chad Carsten. I'm a music addict! Drowning In The Static is the name of my current Industrial Music project. I got the chance to collaborate with Intrinkzik and Daniel Jordan Of Reel Life Productions, for the Hip-Hop anthem "Message to the Mainstream".
I listen to a large variety, ranging from Pure Metal, 80's Hardcore Punk, Industrial/Electronica, drum "n" bass, Oldies/Classic Rock and even Underground Hip-Hop. I'm mostly mellow, but I have my crazy random side at times.
I love to party, attend concerts, play 8-bit video games, collect vinyl, write out short stories, study Psychology and read Anne Rice. I'm obsessed with Pizza and Green tea. Oh and Cuddling is the best! I'm currently working on a Horrocore Hip-Hop documentary with a close friend of mine named Wes!
The music addict inside of me started when I was three years old. I got my first Compact Cassette tape deck radio on Christmas morning 91 with a cassette tape of children songs. It had down by the bay on it. And I replayed that tape over and over until eventually the radio ate the tape. My obsession with music was born!
